What is a tribe?
A large collection of people all living together in a village. They used the same resources to survive.
Three Other tribes lived in the same area as the Hopewell's (diversity).
Odawa
Ojibway
Potawatomi
Due to the environment in which they lived, they had to adapt to survive.
This means they had to change the way they lived to use what nature provided for them. In order to eat, they have to hunt, trap or gather their food. Through trial and error, they learned what was safe to eat and what would hurt them.

They understood that all things are connected. The tribe did not kill something that they did not have a specific use for.
